Welcome to our unique 3D target archery range at Farm Monte Christo, only 30km from Windhoek in the direction Okahandja / Brakwater North. We are Namibia’s one and only 3D target archery range for traditional bow shooting. It's unique, it's exciting and it's a great experience for everyone who loves the outdoors.

Traditional archery range

Archer's Land is situated in beautiful surrounds in which two trails with a variety of 3D archery targets are set-up. Traditional archers as well as compounders can demonstrate their skills on more than thirty professional life-size targets made from special foam whilst enjoying the stunning nature around the Otjiseru river.

Archer’s Land offers a great platform for both complete beginners and experienced archers. It is suitable for most age groups and therefore ideal for families with children as well as for groups of friends or colleagues.

Archer’s Land is open from Mondays to Sundays and on public holidays from 09h00 – 18h00.

Advance bookings for Monday to Fridays and Public Holidays are essential.

Camping @ Archer's Land

The brand new campsite is perfectly located under big shady trees directly at the Otjiseru river, a permanent river in the heart of Namibia. Clean and private ablutions blocks with inside and outside showers and toilets, a nice braai place and a perfect lawn to pitch your tent will make your stay at the camping ground a relaxing and comfortable experience.

How does 3D Archery work?

After checking in at our peculiar reception (we have a rustic bar with ice-cold drinks and snacks available) you can either rent our equipment or prepare your own bow and arrow. A large variety of equipment is available for rent, both for adults and children. If you are a complete newbie you will get an introduction into traditional bow shooting on our training range by our friendly staff.

When you are up and ready you can go "out into the wilderness" using our amazing trails, which are clearly marked. You can choose if you just want to shoot for fun or if you are up for a competition with your friends.

Traditional and Instinctive Archery in Namibia

Traditional bow shooting is enjoyed in nature and we use life-size 3D animals as targets. You shoot without any support such fixed sights, because aiming is done “instinctively”. A good technique and lots of practice will improve your skills. At the same time it’s great fun even for the complete beginner.

We also welcome compound archers to practice their skills in an outdoor setting; however, only experienced archers will be allowed to shoot and bow strength may not exceed 70 pounds.
